2 hour behavioural consultation where we will discuss everything about your dogs problem behaviour. Afterwards you will get 5 step problem behaviour reprogramming plan and the opportunity to ask questions two months after the consultation, if they arise in the process of changing dogs behaviour.<\/p>\n

We offer various level group trainings so the content of lessons are suitable for each dog.<\/p>\n

Puppy socialisation trainings are intended for puppies from 3,5 – 5 months.<\/p>\n

The puppy socialisation course consists of 5 practical lessons.<\/p>\n

  1. Gradual introduction to various touches and body manipulations by his care-taker as well as successful socialisation with strangers.<\/li>\n
  2. Consecutive steps and practical tips on how to organise a successful socialisation with other dogs.<\/li>\n
  3. Introduction to new, unusual things as well as different surfaces for the puppy to climb on.<\/li>\n
  4. Making peaceful associations around various noises and in the urban environment.<\/li>\n
  5. Establishing good associations in the veterinary clinic, on the clinic table and scales as well as various body manipulations from a stranger.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The location of puppy socialisation lessons is PetCity Viesturdarzs.<\/p>\n

    The goal of the basic concepts training is to properly socialise puppy, introduce to the world around it, teach basic obedience, as well as concepts about proper everyday behavior, on the other hand the care-taker must understand dog’s communication, body language, emotions, their influence on dog’s behavior and how to properly train the dog so that the result is fast, long-lasting and effective.<\/p>\n

    What we will learn in this training course:<\/p>\n

    -Basic obedience commands (”Stop”, ”Come here”, ”Wait”, ”Give”, etc.)<\/p>\n

    -Various tasks for thinking – commands<\/p>\n

    -Proper cooperation between dog and his care-taker<\/p>\n

    -Concepts for everyday life – teaching calmness, focus, impulse control, self-confidence, optimism<\/p>\n

    -Natural physical and mental activities for dogs<\/p>\n

    -Proper communication & positive interaction with other dogs<\/p>\n

    Trainings are intended for puppies as well as dogs of any age without previous training experience.<\/p>\n

    We hear comments like this from dog care-takers every day.<\/p>\n

    From a dogs point of view there really is a huge difference between listening to commands in a familiar and predictable environment or being able to adequately respond to different real-life situations.<\/p>\n

    The modern world, especially the urban environment is a very complex and intense environment for a dog.<\/p>\n

    Real life trainings are designed to help dogs feel comfortable and calm in todays hectic world.<\/p>\n

    Trainings are suitable for dogs with basic obedience knowledge from ~5-6 months of age.<\/p>\n

    We will work with dog’s behavior in various everyday situations which tend to be especially challenging for dogs, for example:<\/p>\n

    -Calm behavior around birds (ducks, pigeons, etc.),<\/p>\n

    -Neutral walking past other dogs,<\/p>\n

    -Peaceful coexistence with strangers,<\/p>\n

    -Neutral reaction to bicycles, scooters, cars, etc.<\/p>\n

    -A peaceful visit to the veterinary clinic together with the care-taker,<\/p>\n

    -Peaceful behavior in shops, cafes and similar places.<\/p>\n

    INDIVIDUAL TRAININGS<\/h1>\t\t\n\t\t\t

    Individual trainings are intended for dogs and their care-takers with or without prior knowledge of dog training who wants to acquire or strengthen theoretical and practical knowledge of dog training and behaviour, etc.<\/p>\n

    Individual trainings are great because you and your dog get all the attention from trainer adjusting the training program that suits you both – tasks, level of complexity and duration of training.<\/p>\n

    At the end of each lesson, the trainer will give you homework – tasks to practice until the next lesson. Homework will ensure an even faster and better result in your beloved dog’s training.<\/p>\n

    Duration of individual training: 1 hour<\/p>\n

    The number of lessons depend on the client.<\/p>\n

    During the first training or consultation the trainer will ask you some questions to find out everything about and around your dog – dog’s character, possible behavioral problems, experience and level of his knowledge as well as find out what exact goals you have for your dog’s training. Together with the trainer you will create and talk through your dog’s training program.<\/p>\n\t
